ateliermob begins project to renovate municipal neighbourhood in Vila Franca de Xira
This project comprises two buildings (27 houses) in the Pedra Furada neighbourhood and aims to provide better living conditions for the families who live there.
Under the Lisbon Metropolitan Area Acordo Quadro procedure, ateliermob and its specialities team won the contract for this rehabilitation project.
Bairro da Pedra Furada originated in a SAAL process and was developed in two buildings under the Special Rehousing Programme (PER) promoted by the Promocasa cooperative. In March 2024, the municipality of Vila Franca de Xira bought these two buildings and announced the start of the procedures for their rehabilitation, the design of which will be our responsibility.
