[PT] O nosso projecto de Sacavém (#004) foi seleccionado com outros nove projectos para representar Portugal na próxima Bienal Iberoamericana de Arquitectura e Urbanismo que se realizará em Medellín na Colombia.

[ENG] Our Sacavem project (#004), with other nine projects, was selected to represent Portugal on the VII BIAU at Medellín - Colombia.

O nosso Café em Sacavém está nomeado para os Edifício do Ano 2009 da Archdaily  na categoria de "Hotéis e Restaurantes". É muito fácil votar, mas tem de se ter uma conta de Twitter ou Facebook. O nosso projecto está na segunda linha a contar de baixo.

Our Coffee Shop in Sacavém has been nominated to the Archdaily Building of the Year 2009 category "Hotels and Restaurants". To vote you will need one Twitter or Facebook account, and then it's really easy. Our project is on the second row counting from bellow.

[PT] A World Architecture Community, criou um portal com o objectivo de publicar projectos que se vão fazendo pelo mundo fora. Todos os projectos podem ser objecto de comentários e votação. Em paralelo decorre um prémio, WA Awards, em que todos os projectos publicados são elegíveis.

Ontem, colocámos o nosso projecto #004(a and b). Quem gostar, pode votar.

[ENG] "The aim of the WA Community Awards is to highlight and publish remarkable projects that might otherwise remain unnoticed by the international public yet have the potential to inspire exciting questions about contemporary architectural discourse. ALL PROJECTS uploaded to the portal are considered as candidates for WA Awards, so we invite architects, architecture students from ALL COUNTRIES to submit their buildings (realized or not) of ANY TYPE for the appreciation of the WA Community."

[PT] Depois de quatro longos anos - este projecto é parte integrante de uma grande intervenção urbana na principal avenida de Sacavém, a cafetaria e a estrutura de sombreamento estão terminadas - a cafetaria ainda está fechada. Abaixo seguem algumas das fotografias realizadas em Agosto, pelo excelente arquitecto/fotógrafo João Morgado.

[ENG] After 4 years of construction - these projects were integrated in a huge intervention at Sacavem's main avenue, the cafeteria and the shadow surface is finished - although the cafeteria is not open yet. Here you may see some pictures made in August by the excellent architect/photographer João Morgado.

[PT] Os últimos tempos têm sido animados. Para além da mudança de instalações (em breve juntaremos imagens), tivémos a conclusão da obra de remodelação # 052 (realizada em 5 semanas) e a inauguração das obras # 004 (a) e # 004 (b). Entretanto estamos a preparar o início da obra do projecto # 028, chegou a aprovação do projecto de arquitectura # 023 e aguardamos a formalização da aprovação do projecto # 040.

Por outro lado (ou por nossa sorte ou por muito termos reclamado), parece que finalmente a Câmara Municipal de Lisboa passou a analisar projectos em prazos razoáveis sendo que aparentemente os projectos # 045 e # 046 se encontram no bom caminho.

As primeiras Ilhas da kidsmob foram hoje para execução.
